What date will the LCL10K take place?

The Local Landmarks 10K will take place on Sunday 20 February 2022.

Where will the event take place?

The Local Landmarks 10K is a virtual event and participants complete 10K wherever they choose. We encourage everyone to take part locally and celebrate their ‘Local Landmarks’. Plot your own perfect 10K route, get together with friends and family and pick a local landmark like a post-box or town hall as your start and finishing point.

What time will the event start?

We're encouraging everyone to take part on Sunday 20 February 2022 but if you need to complete your run a few days before, or a few days after that's ok!

How can I take part in LCL10K?

Anyone can take part in the event.

How do I submit my run on the day?

On your profile there will be a page called My Fitness ActivityOn this page you will be able to upload your training either manually or via an associated app.

How much does it cost to enter?

The event costs £15 to enter, plus £2.50 postage, for which you’ll receive a fantastic collectible medal.  All profits will go to the pregnancy charity Tommy’s, who work to save babies' lives.

When will registration close?

Registration closes at 11:59pm on 20/02/2022.

I can no longer take part, what happens next?

We are sorry to hear you are no longer able to take part. We will still send out your medal, and you can run your 10K at a later date once you are able to.

Do I have to raise money for charity?

Just by signing up and paying for your medal you are raising money for charity.

If you already have a place in LLHM 2022 then you can continue to raise money for your chosen charity through your JustGiving Page. Taking part in the LCL10K is a fantastic way to boost your existing fundraising and hit your half marathon goals.

If you don’t have a place in LLHM 2022 then you can select to fundraise for Tommy's when you sign up. However, fundraising is completely optional so if you would prefer just to pay for your medal then that’s totally fine.

I’m already taking part in LLHM 2022 and have a fundraising page, do I need to set up a new one?

No, you can carry on fundraising through your JustGiving page. Please make sure you select the ‘I DO have a place in LLHM 2022’ option when you register.

I don’t have an LLHM 2022 place, do I need to set up a fundraising page somewhere else?

Fundraising is optional for the LCL10K for those runners who don’t have a place in the LLHM. When you sign up and select the ‘I’m not taking part in LLHM 2022' option you will be able to set up a Funraisin’ page as part of your registration journey for Tommy's if you wish. If you’d like to fundraise for a charity not listed, you can do so by setting up a separate fundraising page on another platform. It’s entirely your choice if you’d like to select to raise money for Tommy's, but just by signing up, you’ve already done a huge amount.

Can I get a refund if I am unable to take part?

Refunds are available within 14 days of receipt of the fee confirmation. Please see section 3 of our T&C's for more details here.

When will I receive my medal?

All particpants will have their medals posted automatically after the event has taken place. After the event we will notify you via email when they are being delivered.
